Nikki Peacock

My name is Nikki Peacock. I have been in the beauty industry for about 14 years now. I spent the first five years of my career working and managing a beauty salon in our local area. When I outgrew that role I took the leap to become self employed; building up a mobile beauty therapy business and freelancing in another salon part time. I then went on to set up a small beauty salon in 2012 on the upper level of a hair salon in Guildford town centre. I no longer needed to travel out to my clients, they could come to me instead which was great.  I built up a very successful business in which I was fully booked for months in advance and was at capacity. I needed staff and more space. This is when we expanded in 2019 and moved Peacock Beauty Lounge in to a nearby village and got a bigger premises with more treatments rooms and growth opportunities. I am ecstatic to say we are now a team of five therapists! Due to covid hitting only seven months after expanding, we have found new ways to adapt and grow. Teaching has always been something I have wanted to do and the lockdowns have given me the time to work on my business and create the training school that I have always wanted. So this is when the training school officially launched. I have years of experience within the industry, numerous qualifications that I have gained over my career and years of experience working with clients, carrying out treatments, running a salon, management and training/mentoring staff. I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you and help you with your training, helping you to achieve new skills and qualifications to our high standards; whether its starting a whole new career, or gaining more skills and qualifications.   • My training with Nikki was great. Being in a small group or 1-1 is definitely worth it as you get such a personal experience. She can look over what you’re doing rather than being distracted by lots of other people! Due to the number of years Nikki has been in the industry, you can get little tricks and tips off her that you wouldn’t learn on a standard / online course. Also, she is just on the other end of the phone after you finish your course if you need anything, which is such a useful tool as you can’t learn everything in one day!
